A new Jordan in the image of the Parisian club
Three years ago, Paris Saint-Germain presented their first collection with Jordan Brand. While the collaboration may have been surprising at first glance, it turned out to be perfectly coherent because it was essentially based on the convergence of the ideals of the two collaborators. The Parisian football club represents the thirst for victory that His Airness embodied during his years of achievement in the NBA. On the occasion of the presentation of the new PSG shirts with Jordan Brand, the brand at Jumpman is releasing a new Jordan in the image of the club from the capital. After collaborating on Jordan 1, 4, 5 and 6, it is the turn of the 7th signature sneaker of the Black Cat to wear the colors of the football club founded in 1970.

The Air Jordan 7 was invented by the brilliant Tinker Hatfield and of the Jordan pairs he imagined, it is the first to do without the apparent air unit. Built around a neoprene liner, it features a white grained leather exoskeleton. The side panel and the yoke covering the ankle are made of sheer, fine mesh.

While the first has a label bearing the inscription Paname, the second is adorned with a gold-tone Jumpman. Under the latter, we can see a piece of red leather covering the navy slipper. The navy neoprene tongue, attached to the liner, has a red Jordan embroidery at the top. The heeltab is decorated with a logo representing the Eiffel Tower in red. Under it, we find the white lily of the Parisian club on a blue background. Other details include the club’s slogan “Ici c’est Paris” on the insoles. The pair sits atop a black midsole edged in places with navy and white.
